The header tubes are welded both internally and externally to the head flange—a feature typically reserved for custom-made race headers—ensuring superior strength and longevity. The collector flange is 3\/8\" thick with a 2 1\/4\" opening, and both flanges utilize factory-style gaskets for ease of replacement. The kit includes new header and collector gaskets, collector hardware, and an additional 2-bolt flange for connecting to a custom exhaust system.\n\nIt is intended for off-road use only and is not street legal for emissions-controlled vehicles. The Pro Headers do not include provisions for stock air injection tubes or oxygen sensors, and a connector pipe to the factory exhaust is not included due to the race-focused design. This header fits all 1982 to 1995 2WD pickups only. For 4WD pickups and 4Runners, Part #1041024 should be considered. LC Engineering advises against wrapping the headers with exhaust wrap, as this can lead to premature failure, corrosion, and will void all warranty claims.
