The intake tube connects to the air box through a 5-ply silicone elbow and a CNC-lathed aluminum bellmouth. This velocity stack design smoothly compresses the air from 4.00 inches down to 3.00 inches, minimizing energy loss and increasing air speed. The system includes a 4.00-inch air filter, available in either cp-e's Dflow™ or SynOil™ options, designed for maximum airflow.\n\nThe air box itself is constructed from 18-gauge stainless steel, laser-cut and CNC-bent for durability and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel's thermal properties help keep the interior cool, even when the exterior heats up. The box efficiently draws cool, fresh air from both stock fresh air ducts and the wheel well, isolating the filter from engine bay heat. A clear plexi-glass top cover allows for a view of the filter and provides easy access. The air box mounts directly into the stock location using laser-cut brackets and CNC-lathed mounting feet.
