{"product_id":"billet-aluminum-big-brake-kit-11","title":"Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit","description":"This kit elevates the performance of the Procomp kit with significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, complemented by an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors. The full-floating rotor design allows for slight adjustments, enhancing self-centering within the caliper, reducing drag, and optimizing braking performance through more even pad application.\n\nThe calipers are meticulously crafted from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum billet, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and immunity to corrosion. This one-piece forged construction offers uniform thickness and robust integrity across the entire caliper. Complementing the calipers are aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material to offer optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.\n\nFurther enhancing the system are DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines resist expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines. The Supercomp system comes standard with 400mm diameter, 36mm wide floating two-piece rotors. While the product listing mentions slotted or cross-drilled rotors as an option for Procomp kits, this specific Supercomp kit appears to come standard with slotted rotors based on product titles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.\n\nThis kit is designed to fit various Volvo S40 and V50 models from 2004 to 2012, specifically FWD variants. It's crucial to confirm exact fitment for your specific year, model, and trim. Fitment Industries offers assistance in confirming compatibility; if their sales team recommends an incompatible setup, they will work with you to make it right, potentially waiving restocking or return shipping fees if the item is in like-new condition.","brand":"Ksport","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52869023859000,"sku":"BKVO070-961SO","price":4169.55,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0970\/4895\/3144\/files\/687998294.webp?v=1787916322","url":"https:\/\/store.motormia.co\/products\/billet-aluminum-big-brake-kit-11","provider":"MOTORMIA","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
