For pump gas, a High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) is REQUIRED, and a Low-Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) is strongly recommended. For ethanol, an LPFP is REQUIRED, along with Multi-Port Injection (MPI), though an upgraded HPFP is not needed with MPI. Additional recommended bolt-on modifications include an upgraded intercooler, intake system, discharge pipe kit, and aftermarket exhaust.
