The short block is assembled with a new 2015-18 Subaru 2.0L WRX crankshaft, balanced and blueprinted, and matched with King XPG main bearings. Connecting the components are Brian Crower H-Beam rods secured by ARP2000 rod bolts, paired with King or ACL XPG rod bearings.\n\nAssembly is completed with new OEM case bolts and sealant. The short block is finished with IAG-Spec 86.25mm forged pistons, a ring set, and .150″ x 2.250″ Chromoly wrist pins. An OEM oil plug is preinstalled at the oil pan location. This short block has a power output rating of 675 BHP and a compression ratio of 10.6:1 with standard gasket thickness.
