The OEM Manifold Kit mounts to the DI fuel rail and may necessitate the removal of the factory airbox or a post on the manifold. For vehicles with the airbox positioned on top of the intake manifold, these modifications are often required. The Aftermarket Manifold version is intended for use with specific aftermarket intake manifolds and mounts to the port injection fuel rail's mounting tabs. An aftermarket intake manifold is highly recommended and may be required for some applications. It is not compatible with the OEM airbox or any airbox that occupies the same space on the manifold, and may require removal of a manifold mounting peg. Furthermore, F10 and e9x N55 chassis vehicles cannot accommodate both the ignition kit and an aftermarket manifold simultaneously due to the inlet location.
