ALH engines will need an adapter for SMIC plumbing. BEW engines require an EGR pipe for true plug-and-play installation and updated tuning to prevent check engine lights. A new oil supply line is always recommended for both engine types.\n\nThis turbo is new from Borg Warner and includes a Turbo Install gasket kit. For ALH owners, if your car was produced before mid-2001, updated turbo support bracket, oil return line, and oil return line block fitting may be required; a retrofit kit is available. ALH models produced after mid-2001 are a direct install.
