Overview

Smittybilt GEAR Tailgate Cover. Installation: Position cover, mark holes with scribe (Fig A, B). For 2011 vehicles, remove tailgate support bracket with #30 torx bit (Fig E). Drill marked holes with 7/64” bit (Fig C). Install screws (Fig D). For 2011 JK, fold support bar bracket over cover, punch holes for bracket using an Awl or sharp blade (Fig F), then re-install bolts (Fig G). Attach pouches by sliding straps through webbing on cover (Fig H), fold strap back through webbing on pouch (Fig I), slide through next rows on cover (Fig J), and fasten snaps.
