StopTech Big Brake Kits are performance braking upgrades engineered for BMW chassis. They utilize a 'Balanced Brake Upgrade' design, optimizing braking torque across all four tires by considering the vehicle's hydraulic system, master cylinder size, weight transfer, and tire contact patch. Kits include highly rigid 2, 4, or 6-piston calipers with internal pistons sized for each BMW chassis, patented Aerorotors with efficient internal cooling vanes (slotted or cross-drilled, bare cast iron or zinc coated), Sport pads (aggressive street compound; race/track pads also available), model-specific stainless steel brake lines, and hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounting brackets with stainless steel studs. Lighter, more track-focused Trophy and C43 CBK kits are also available, potentially featuring lighter calipers and rotors, dark grey hard-anodized finishes, and different rotor hardware.
