The floating disc design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use.\n\nStandard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic, are available for extreme track use but are not recommended for street driving due to their high operating temperature requirements.
