Each caliper uses four brake pads due to its larger size.\n\nThe 2-piece floating disc assembly included in the SuperComp systems reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps dissipate gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional slots, while also reducing braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.\n\nThis kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC ceramic material for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, operating efficiently between 194°F – 1022°F.
