The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper.\n\nThe kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-oriented use.\n\nStandard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads optimized for street and occasional track use, operating efficiently between 194°F – 1022°F. The kit includes custom-fit CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response.
