Due to the caliper's size, each unit utilizes four brake pads.\n\nThe SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly, available in 400mm (15.7-inch) diameter with a 36mm thickness. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted configurations. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F, and are not recommended for street use.
