Due to the substantial size of the SuperComp calipers, each caliper utilizes four brake pads.\n\nThe kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The SuperComp systems come standard with either cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler, or slotted rotors, advised for vehicles with more track use. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions with an optimal operating temperature of 482°F – 1472°F, though they are not recommended for street use due to their high working temperature.
