The opposed piston design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines offer enhanced pedal feel and quicker response. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are utilized per caliper.\n\nThis kit includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F – 1022°F. For more extreme track use, optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available, with an optimal operating temperature of 482°F – 1472°F and not recommended for street use. The kit also features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM locations.\n\nAll Ksport Big Brake Kits are made-to-order and are non-refundable.
