The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure for improved pedal feel and quicker response.\n\nThis kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. Standard on the SuperComp systems are cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler operating temperatures, or slotted rotors for vehicles with more track use. Both rotor types offer increased bite and continuously clean the pad surface.\n\nIncluded with the kit are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, operating effectively between 194°F – 1022°F. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F (not recommended for street use). The calipers are mounted using CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets designed specifically for your vehicle.
