The Factor 55 Rubber Guard is a synthetic rubber gasket designed to separate a ProLink or FlatLink from a fairlead. It is made of high durometer EPDM rubber, which offers superior resistance to aging, cracking, UV, ozone, and oxygen exposure. This material is chosen over polyurethane for its durability and flexibility. The guard features 8 precision-machined pockets on the back of the ProLink that accept ribbed barbs for a secure fit.
