The AudiS4Parts B601ESwap is a comprehensive kit enabling the conversion of Audi B6 and B7 A4 and S4 models from their factory automatic (Tip) transmission to a robust 01E six-speed manual transmission. The kit includes a meticulously prepared 01E six-speed transmission, which undergoes a 100% tear-down, inspection of all gears, synchros, springs, and seals, replacement of the main input shaft seal, and updated 1-2 synchro parts. The transmission also features internal mainshaft etching for warranty purposes and comes with a 6-month/Unlimited Mile warranty. Clutch options are available via a dropdown menu. Completing the swap requires the included wiring instructions and a specialized flashing service for Audi S4 4.2L, A4 1.8t, and 3.0 engines to ensure proper integration and to avoid dashboard warning lights. The provided components include transmission mounting brackets, a mounting ring, bolts, rear driveshaft, differential, shifter linkage, boot, knob, clutch line, clutch pedal assembly, slave cylinder, master cylinder, and A6-specific front axles. Installation at the AudiS4Parts shop is estimated to take around 4 business days, with labor costs approximately $1500.
