The Bosch 044 is a highly regarded inline electric fuel pump, recognized as a staple in the performance tuning and motorsports community. Its popularity stems from its robust performance, often used by Japanese, European, and Australian tuner shops, as well as in competitive racing series like JGTC, Touring cars, and WRC. This fuel pump delivers an impressive 300 LPH free flow and maintains 200 LPH at 5 bar (72.5 psi), enabling it to support engines producing up to 685 BHP under specific conditions (12V, 3 bar base pressure, 2 bar boost, 1:1 regulator). Its advanced turbine design ensures near-silent operation, enhanced drivability, and a significantly reduced wear rate, leading to a longer service life. With an M18x1.5 inlet and M10 X 1.0 outlet, the Bosch 044 is designed for straightforward integration into many fuel systems. It requires a minimum of 12 Volts and 13 Amps to operate, with an optimal operating pressure of 72.5 PSI (5 Bar). While typically installed inline, it can be mounted within the fuel tank with custom fabrication. For even higher output, it can be configured in series with another fuel pump.
