This cylinder head includes a performance 4-angle valve job for optimal airflow, contributing to maximum horsepower. It is equipped with Single Hi-Rev springs, chromoly retainers, bronze silicon racing valve guides, and 3/4" long reach spark plug bosses. These heads are produced by an OEM supplier to Volkswagen and are sold individually.

The CB Performance 044 Special Cylinder Head is engineered to elevate your engine's performance, specifically cut for 94mm barrels and pistons. Built for durability, the heads are equipped with chromoly retainers and single groove valve locks, ensuring they can withstand the demands of high-performance driving. The design includes a 4-angle valve job on the seats for enhanced airflow, contributing to maximum horsepower. It also features Single Hi-Rev springs, chromoly retainers, bronze silicon racing valve guides, and 3/4" long reach spark plug bosses. These cylinder heads were factory-produced by an O.E.M. supplier to Volkswagen. They also include double-thick combustion chamber walls and tapered cooling fins. The addition of bronze silicon racing valve guides and tungsten carbide alloy valve seats further improves reliability and longevity. This 044 Special Cylinder Head is sold individually and is ideal for those seeking to boost their engine's capabilities. It is specifically cut for 94mm barrels and pistons and fits Volkswagen Beetle (1960-1979), T2 Bus (1968-1979), Split Bus (1960-1967), Karmann Ghia (1960-1974), Beetle Cabrio (1960-1979), and Type 3 (1962-1973) models.
