The PFC Brakes 1609.08.17.44 are Performance Friction 08 compound racing brake pads engineered for the demanding environments of endurance racing and extended track days. These front brake pads are designed to fit stock or M Sport front calipers and also accommodate E82/E9X M Performance calipers. The PFC 08 compound is a popular choice for sportscar and GT racing, known for its exceptional wear rates and smooth initial bite. The pads exhibit a slight friction rise as temperature increases, coupled with excellent release and modulation capabilities. Furthermore, they are designed to minimize abraded disc wear, and among all PFC compounds, the 08 offers the longest wear life. Performance Friction focuses on developing optimal pad compounds for specific applications, ensuring that each pad is built to suit its intended racing venue. These pads are available for various BMW models including the F22 M235i/M240i, F3X 335i/340i/435i/440i, and F8X M2/M3/M4 with cast iron brakes.
