The Rockford Fosgate RFW1R-51 is a 51-foot spool of 1/0 AWG power and ground wire engineered for high-power car audio electrical installations. Its construction features pure crystal-oxygen-free copper (PC-OFC) for optimal signal transfer and a high strand count of 5,000, ensuring durability and ease of routing. This wire meets full AWG (American Wire Gauge) specification, ensuring it delivers the expected current capacity for demanding systems. It is also certified to the BC-5W2 marine specification, making it suitable for use on boats and non-commercial marine vessels. The RFW1R-51 is ideal for power, ground, and remote turn-on connections, and its 1/0 AWG gauge is intended for high-power systems. When installing, ensure you use terminals designed for 1/0 AWG as the cable is very thick. Rockford Fosgate adheres to the CTA-2015 industry standard, which guarantees the correct amount of copper for the specified wire gauge, unlike some manufacturers who may substitute thicker insulation for copper.
