1.0 PCM

The ZZP 1.0 PCM is a performance-tuned engine control module designed to enhance the capabilities of 2.2L and 2.4L Ecotec engines. This unit offers a raised rev limiter set to 7000rpm (compatible with stock valve springs), modified fan turn-on temperatures, and recalibrated Wide Open Throttle (WOT) fueling and timing parameters. It also features modified torque abuse modes to eliminate launch bogging and adjusted power enrichment tables tailored for specific naturally aspirated or boosted configurations, along with modified injector charts. The PCM also removes "COT" (Coat-of-Paint) and "Burst KR" (Knock Retard) functionalities for improved performance. For automatic transmissions, shift points and trans line pressure are also modified. This PCM is specifically designed for use with ZZP turbo kits and supercharger kits for the 2.2/2.4 Ecotec platform. If you are installing this on a custom engine swap (e.g., tube chassis, sand rail, older chassis Ecotec retrofits), you MUST select the custom engine swap option. The product requires a VIN number and model year selection for proper programming. Note that ZZPerformance cannot flash any 2.2 PCM before the 2007 model year. Customers have several options for ordering: sending their PCM first for modification, emailing a file, or renting a tuning interface and laptop. Electrical items are non-returnable, and once shipped, PCMs are non-returnable. A 1-year warranty covers defective products. If sending in your core PCM first, it must be the original PCM from your vehicle to avoid potential issues like security or crank relearns. Installation may require a CASE learn on some vehicles; if a P0315 code appears, a CASE learn is mandatory. ZZPerformance offers assistance with tuning software and scan logs if purchased from them.
