The Flowtech 12102FLT Long Tube Header is precision engineered to enhance exhaust flow for Ford 255 to 302 engines. Constructed from durable mild steel, this header features mandrel-bent tubing, formed collectors, and 5/16" flanges with sealing rings to ensure a leak-free seal. The header is coated in a high-heat resistant black paint for a stealthy appearance and added protection. With a primary tube diameter of 1-1/2" and a 3" collector size, this downswept header is designed to optimize exhaust gas scavenging, potentially leading to increased horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward installation. Flange thickness is 0.3125in. This header is specifically designed to fit 1964-1970 Ford Mustang and 1967-1970 Mercury Cougar models equipped with 260-302W engines. Additionally, this header will not fit C6 transmissions and is not street legal in all areas.
