The Groco ARG-1500-S is a 1-1/2" raw water strainer, specifically designed as a filtration solution for the cooling water intakes of marine engines, AC units, and gensets. Its robust construction includes a C84400 bronze head casting and a #304 stainless steel basket, ensuring durability in marine environments. This strainer offers several user-friendly features, including a mounting system that allows for removal without tools and bonding connections on both sides for secure installation. An O-ring seal on all joining surfaces ensures leak-free operation. The unit also features an improved drain plug for easier maintenance and comes with NPT or BSPP threaded ports. With an open area ratio of 20, the ARG-1500-S is UL Listed 255-D, meeting important safety and performance standards.
