The increased stiffness of this rear sway bar greatly reduces understeer and overall body roll, leading to a more planted and responsive driving experience. Compared to the stock 22mm rear bar, the Steeda unit features a 1-1/8" solid diameter, providing an incremental stiffness increase of 110% to 175%. This substantial upgrade is designed specifically for 2011-2019 Ford Explorers, including Base, XLT, and Limited trims. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware, including replacement polyurethane bushings and bushing brackets, along with detailed installation instructions.
