Constructed with premium materials, including heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets, these tie rods offer exceptional strength and longevity. They come pre-greased with Chevron Ultra EP2 grease and are ready for installation.

They boast a robust construction with a solid 1-1/4” hexagon steel body that effectively resists bending and flexing under significant load. Premium materials, such as heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets, are utilized to ensure exceptional strength and longevity. These tie rods come pre-greased with Chevron Ultra EP2 grease, making them ready for installation. For optimal performance and longevity, they recommend service every 5,000-7,000 miles. In lab testing, these tie rods withstood an impressive 21,000 lbs of pull force, exceeding OEM specifications by more than double. However, it is crucial to note that these tie rods will not work with aftermarket center links unless they are upgraded using Kryptonite’s SS Series Centerlink Package (sold separately). The tie rods are compatible with future centerlink upgrades, with an option to upgrade later without replacing the tie rods using part number KR11SSU78. These tie rods are designed for 2011–2026 Chevy Silverado 2500HD / 3500HD and 2011-2026 GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500 HD trucks. They are intended for use on trucks with an OEM centerlink installed and require a factory-style center link. They come with a durable black powder coat finish and feature laser-engraved branding. Kryptonite backs these components with a No Fine Print Lifetime Warranty, covering manufacturer defects, premature wear, or breakage.
