The Tomei 1.2mm Head Gaskets are a performance-oriented upgrade for Subaru EJ255 and EJ257 engines, designed to offer superior sealing and durability for high-power applications. These gaskets feature a 101mm bore and a thickness of 1.2mm, contributing to optimal engine performance and reliability. Constructed from multi-layered steel (MLS), these head gaskets are built to withstand extreme conditions, including higher boost pressures and temperatures commonly found in modified or performance-tuned engines. The design includes an opposing bead type, with the topside recessed and the underside raised, along with a stopper-type seal to ensure robust sealing integrity and prevent blowouts. They are sold as a pair, providing a complete solution for a 2.5L turbo engine rebuild or performance enhancement.
