1-3/4" Big Block Headers

The TTi 383440-134 header set is engineered for Mopar big block engines (383, 400, 440) and is designed to fit 1967-1976 A-body, 1962-1979 B-body, and 1970-1974 E-body vehicles. Constructed from 16-gauge mild steel with 3/8" thick flanges and 3.0" collectors, these headers are available in three finishes: raw mild steel (susceptible to rust), silver satin ceramic coated (interior thermal barrier reduces underhood temps by approx. 50°F), and polished silver ceramic coated (also with an interior thermal barrier). Header sets include essential components such as header gaskets, 12 header bolts, and header reducer adapters to facilitate connection to your exhaust system. Optional features like O2 sensor bungs, evacuation tubes, and EGT probe fittings can be installed prior to coating as special orders. Installation requires the engine to be located at factory specifications; deviations may prevent proper fitment. Specific fitment notes apply: headers will not clear UniSteer rack and pinion systems. A modified Z-bar (part #ZB307) is required for 67-76 A-body applications with a standard transmission. For 440 applications with an 11" flywheel (143-tooth ring gear), a RobbMc Performance starter (#3005) is necessary. Quick/Fast Ratio Pitman & Idler arms longer than OEM may require dimpling tubes or may not fit certain A-body configurations. A,B,E-body applications with a 440 RB engine and power steering on A-body applications are not compatible with these headers. Lakewood Bellhousings may require minor modification for clearance.
