1-3/4 Inch Tube Long Tube Headers with 3 Inch Collector

The Hedman HED-66003 headers are a performance upgrade for select Chevrolet models, designed to enhance exhaust flow and engine performance. These full-length headers feature 1-3/4 inch primary tubes and 3-inch ball and socket style collectors for a gasketless, leak-resistant seal. The included reducers are 2-1/2 inches. The headers are constructed from 16-gauge mild steel and finished with Hedman's HTC (High Temperature Coating) Polished Silver Ceramic-Metallic coating for durability and a polished appearance. These headers are engineered for specific Chevrolet engines, including the Chevy SB 283-400 (Gen 1) from 1958-1986. The primary vehicle applications noted are the 1967-1969 Camaro and the 1968-1974 Nova. They are compatible with automatic and manual transmissions, column and floor shift, and power steering. However, their fitment with air conditioning is dependent on the specific vehicle application and may require refering to vehicle application footnotes. Important considerations include that these headers are not street legal for 1975 and later model years and are for off-road use only. Modifications to the stock exhaust may be required to retain a catalytic converter. The Hedman 500-66003 headers will not fit a Corvette.
