The Sanderson FF394 header set is engineered to fit 1961-1966 Ford Thunderbirds equipped with the Ford 332-428 FE engine. They may also fit other vehicles and custom-built applications, with compatibility noted for some front clip grafts from the Ford Crown Victoria. Constructed with 16-gauge tubing for both primary and collector tubes, these headers feature 1-3/4″ primary tube diameters and a 3.0″ collector diameter. The flange is a substantial 3/8″ thick and utilizes a patented design that requires no gaskets. Options for header finish include Silver Ceramic Coated, Black Satin Ceramic Coated, or Plain Steel (raw metal), with the ceramic coating recommended for its protection, thermal control, exhaust scavenging, and longevity benefits. Sanderson offers multiple flange options to accommodate different Ford FE cylinder head variations, including Standard FE 8-bolt, Cobra-Jet (16-bolt), and GT (14-bolt) types. It is crucial to select the correct flange based on your cylinder head configuration for proper fitment. All necessary hardware for installation, including a header bolt set and collector reducer set, is included.
