1-3/4" Primary Tubes, 3" Collector Street Headers

The Hedman Hedders HED69450 street headers are engineered for Big Block Chevy engines, specifically designed to fit GM Fullsize Trucks from model years 1988 through 1995. Constructed from durable steel and finished in black paint, these headers feature 1-3/4 inch primary tubes and a 3 inch collector for optimal exhaust flow. These headers are intended for late model chassis applications and are designed with the engine offset to the passenger side of the vehicle. It is important to note that due to cylinder head design in Generation 6 engines (aluminum heads), 502 BB Chevy applications may encounter clearance issues. The bottom of the header flanges might contact the head bolts, potentially requiring notching for proper fitment. Installation of these headers will require modification to the stock exhaust system to retain the catalytic converter. Additionally, these headers are designated as RACE ONLY and are not legal for public street or highway use on vehicles from 1975 and later due to emissions regulations.
