1-3/4" Shorty Exhaust Headers

The BBK Performance shorty exhaust headers are engineered to enhance the exhaust flow and power output of 1999-2013 Chevrolet and GMC Truck and SUV models equipped with 4.8L and 5.3L V8 engines. These headers boast a polished silver ceramic finish, contributing to reduced under-hood temperatures and potentially greater power gains. The construction features 1-3/4" diameter CNC-machined, mandrel-bent steel tubing paired with robust 3/8" thick die-stamped flanges for durability and optimal airflow. The kit includes all necessary new gaskets and hardware to facilitate a straightforward fit. A specific installation note requires the removal of the factory OE doughnut gasket from the passenger side OE manifold and its reinstallation onto the BBK header to ensure proper mid-pipe connection and sealing. It is important to note that these headers are designed exclusively for Full Size 2WD/4WD Truck and SUV applications. They are explicitly stated to NOT fit smaller trucks or SUVs such as the Envoy Denali, Trailblazer SS, or SSR. Furthermore, BBK Performance advises against the use of header wrap on any of their exhaust headers or pipes, as doing so will void the product warranty.
