Description

Its small size makes it ideal for installations in tight engine bay spaces, while its all-metal construction ensures durability. This specific kit is custom-made for Flyin' Miata and features 1 3/8" (34mm) inlet and outlet ports. It includes Turbosmart's lighter spring, which is noted as a better match for most Miata turbo kits. The valve is intended for vent-to-atmosphere (BOV) use, meaning it should not be used on vehicles with a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor located before the blow-off valve. A version for recirculated use is available for stock ECUs. The kit comes with an un-oiled filter to prevent the valve from pulling air at idle. The filter can be oiled if desired. This blow-off valve was previously included in older Flyin' Miata high boost kits utilizing 3071 and larger turbos and will also fit older FM turbo systems with steel intercooler piping. It is compatible with 1990-1997 and 1999-2005 model year Miatas.
