1.4L Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield

The ZZP Cruze Cold Air Intake is a high-flow replacement for the factory air box, designed specifically for the 1.4L engine. This revised intake system provides a complete replacement for your OEM unit, resulting in a more noticeable bypass valve sound. On a stock computer, it can deliver approximately 12hp by leaning out the Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) and increasing boost pressure. For vehicles already equipped with a tuned computer, the gains are estimated at 5-6hp when paired with this intake. Constructed with a durable powder coat finish, this cold air intake features an integrated air box or heat shield to ensure that only cool ambient air is drawn into the engine. This is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and preventing heat soak. For more aggressive builds exceeding 250 wheel horsepower (whp), the intake's insert can be removed to allow for a wider MAF frequency range, providing more tuning flexibility. The process is estimated to take approximately 30 minutes. This intake fits Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T models from 2011 through 2016. However, it is important to note that this specific intake does not fit the late model 2016.5+ Cruze; a separate version is available for the 2nd generation Cruze. Additionally, this intake will not fit any Chevy Sonic models, which have their own dedicated intake system.
