1-5/8" Shorty Exhaust Headers

The BBK Performance 1515 shorty exhaust headers are engineered to enhance the performance and sound of your 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L. These headers are designed to increase exhaust flow, providing an estimated 10-15 horsepower gain and improved torque. The 1-5/8" primary tubes are CNC-machined and mandrel-bent from 16-gauge steel, contributing to unrestricted airflow and maximum horsepower gains. The titanium ceramic coating not only adds durability but also helps to reduce underhood temperatures. Constructed with 3/8" thick die-stamped flanges for a robust seal, these headers are pressure-tested to ensure leak-free performance. They are designed as a direct bolt-on application and are compatible with both factory and aftermarket mid-pipes. They are also noted to fit GT40P Heads, though a 90-degree spark plug boot on the #7 plug and a heat sleeve on the plug wire are required.
