The LSD functions as a standard differential during straight-line driving or when wheel speeds are equal, but locks the drive wheels when a speed differential occurs.

The KAAZ DBH2030 is a 1.5-way front limited-slip differential (LSD) specifically engineered for manual transmission (MT) applications, offering enhanced traction and handling capabilities. This "Type STD" model utilizes a robust design with a built-in clutch plate and pressure ring. The pressure ring mechanism activates when a difference in rotational speed between the left and right drive wheels is detected, spreading to pressurize the clutch plates. This locking action ensures that when fully engaged, torque is equally transmitted to both wheels, providing superior grip during cornering and acceleration. The KAAZ LSD operates like a standard differential when driving straight or when wheel speeds are consistent, ensuring smooth operation under normal driving conditions. The DBH2030 features 10 plates and an S-2 plate size, suitable for mild to medium power levels. This specific KAAZ LSD is designed to fit the Honda Civic Type R FK2 model, from 2015 to 2018, equipped with the K20C1 engine and manual transmission. It is a front-position differential. Included with the differential is 2L of gear oil. A "Super Q" option, which may offer quieter operation, is also available. Buyers should note that while Singapore and Malaysia pricing includes import taxes, other countries may be subject to local import duties. Shipping is handled via DHL from a Japanese warehouse.
