1.5-Way Limited Slip Differential

The KAAZ DBT2010 is a 1.5-way limited-slip differential, a common upgrade for performance and race vehicles seeking to optimize power delivery. This differential locks under acceleration to ensure maximum power reaches the drive wheels, while also engaging partially under deceleration to improve braking stability and initiate smoother turn-ins. Constructed with 12 plates for handling medium power levels, the DBT2010 can also be ordered as a SuperQ variant. The SuperQ version incorporates WPC metal treatment, resulting in significantly reduced chattering and smoother engagement. This treatment also enhances heat dissipation and extends the differential's wear life, eliminating the need for a break-in period. Like all KAAZ LSDs, the SuperQ units offer adjustable locking rates. It fits the Levin/Trueno (AE92/AE101) from 1987-1995 with Supercharged 4A-GZE engines in the front differential. It also fits the MR2 (AW11SC) from 1986-1989 with Supercharged 4A-GZE engines in the rear, and the MR2 (SW20 Turbo) from 1989-1999 with 3S-GTE engines in the rear. The differential is compatible with vehicles that originally came with or without a factory LSD. Specific notes regarding speedo gears, clips, and ring gear bolts (T1) or bearings (T2) are provided for installation.
