The Kaaz SBN3515 is a 1.5-way limited-slip differential engineered for rear differentials in performance and race applications. It features 24 plates, providing ample locking force for medium to high power levels. A 1.5-way LSD offers a balance of performance benefits, engaging fully under acceleration to maximize power to the drive wheels. Under deceleration, it engages partially, aiding in braking stability and smoother turn-in. This design is common in competitive motorsport for its predictable and effective performance. For an enhanced driving experience, Kaaz offers the SuperQ variant of this differential. The SuperQ option utilizes WPC metal treatment, which reduces chattering, promotes smoother engagement, improves heat dissipation, and extends wear life without requiring a break-in period. Both standard and SuperQ units allow for locking rate adjustments. This specific part number, SBN3515, is listed as fitting the Fairlady Z from 2002 onwards (Z33/Z34 models) with VQ35/VQ37 engines and a manual transmission, specifically when the factory differential is open. It is also compatible with Nissan 350Z (03-09), 370Z, Infiniti G35, G37, and Q60 models equipped with the VQ35DE or VQ37VHR engines and manual transmissions, provided they have an open rear differential.
