The Pioneer VREC-H120SC is a compact dash camera engineered for exceptional clarity and a broad field of view, providing a clear, wide perspective of the road ahead. It records crisp video in 1296p resolution, equivalent to 1.5K, utilizing a 2MP sensor. Key features include Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for capturing detailed footage in varying light conditions, from bright sunlight to deep shadows, ensuring stunning, lifelike videos. Its 120° wide-angle field of view captures more of the surroundings. For safety, it incorporates automatic event recording with built-in G-sensor technology, which automatically saves crucial footage during emergencies or sudden impacts, preserving these critical video clips for review in case of an incident or insurance claim. It supports external storage up to 128GB. An optional parking mode allows for continuous recording even when the vehicle is parked and the engine is off, with impact detection triggering video recording during parking. Note that this feature requires the additional installation of an external Hardwire Kit to power the dash camera directly from the vehicle battery. Built-in Wi-Fi enables connection to Pioneer's Ai-Sense App, allowing users to access a live view, playback recordings, download clips, or transfer images directly to their smartphone without cables. A 64GB SD card is often included for reliable storage, with automatic overwriting of the oldest footage when the card is full.
