The 27WON Performance Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of the 10th Generation Honda Civic's 1.5L Earth Dreams engine. Featuring a precision cast aluminum, one-piece construction, this pipe boasts a 42% larger internal diameter compared to the OEM component, directly improving airflow through the turbocharger and unlocking greater power potential. Its durable black powdercoat finish not only aids in heat resistance but also contributes to a refined aftermarket appearance in the engine bay. This inlet pipe is designed for optimal flow, with an increased internal diameter to 76mm. While a tune is not strictly required for installation, it is recommended for achieving optimal performance. The pipe is manufactured from A356-T6 aluminum and post-machined for a precise fit with OEM, W1, and W2 style drop-in turbo upgrades. It is noted that all design and testing were completed using an OEM bypass valve (BPV), and fitment with aftermarket BPVs cannot be guaranteed. Installation involves specific steps, including potentially bending metal tubes, removing and replacing the wiring harness cover for the turbo wastegate actuator with provided shrink wrap, and ensuring proper alignment of the clamp connecting to the intake to avoid rubbing against the hood. All necessary components for a seamless installation are included, such as mounting studs, gaskets, silicone hoses, and wiring harness shrink wrap.
