The Ferrea Competition Plus exhaust valve is engineered as a robust, lightweight replacement for failure-prone stock hollow stem LS7 exhaust valves, specifically tailored for forced induction applications. Constructed from a special aerospace-quality alloy (EV8-Z18) for high tensile strength, these valves undergo an exclusive two-step slow forging process to ensure optimal grain flow and material integrity. Each valve is meticulously heat-treated and stress-relieved over a 48-hour period, forming the foundation of its molecular integrity. The Competition Plus valves are finished with avionics-quality hard chrome and a specially applied hard tip for enhanced durability. Key specifications include a 1.615-inch head diameter, an 8mm (5/16 inch) stem diameter, a 5.227-inch overall length, a .290-inch tip length, and a 24-degree back angle, making them suitable for turbo and supercharged builds. These valves are compatible with a range of GM LS-series vehicles, including various Camaro, Corvette, CTS-V, Chevy SS, G8 GT/GXP, GM Trucks (1999-2007 and 2007-2014), and GTO models. It's important to note that these are not compatible with LS3 0821 heads.
