The BMR MTCA001H is a performance-oriented, non-adjustable tubular lower control arm set engineered for Third- and Fourth-Gen GM F-Body vehicles. Replacing the factory stamped steel control arms, which are prone to deflection under load, these BMR arms are constructed from lightweight 1.625-inch 4130 Chrome-moly tubing for maximum strength and minimal flex. They are equipped with greasable, internally fluted, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings designed to provide a solid, responsive feel and ensure quiet, reliable operation. The polyurethane bushings offer a superior upgrade over stock rubber bushings, absorbing high compression loads during hard launches and acceleration while maintaining enough articulation for improved handling. This makes the MTCA001 an ideal upgrade for enthusiasts seeking improved performance for street, drag race, or road race applications, offering a balance of performance gains and acceptable NVH levels. BMR Suspension offers these control arms in black hammertone and red powdercoat finishes for durability and aesthetics. Installation is estimated to take 1-2 hours. An optional Control Arm Hardware Kit (RH005) is highly recommended for installation. The MTCA001H is specifically designed for 1982-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models, including various sub-models and years within that range.
