Description

The TurboBay 1.6T GDI GAMMA II upgrade turbocharger offers enhanced performance for the 1.6L GDI GAMMA II engine. This unit features TBP upgraded race thrust components and all new internals, ensuring reliability and improved efficiency. The compressor covers and seal plate have been CNC machined for V2/V3 upgrades, with V3 units also receiving CNC machined turbine housings. Each turbocharger is VSR high-speed balanced and computer pressure tested in-house by TurboBay. This turbocharger is designed for a 100% bolt-on installation. Available upgrades, depending on the selected model (check the dropdown menu), include a TBP upgraded larger turbine wheel for enhanced mid to top-end horsepower, and TBP upgraded thrust component CNC machined housings. TurboBay emphasizes that all machining and upgrades are performed in-house, not outsourced. Vehicle fitment is specified for the KIA K5 1.6L.
