1 7/8" 304 Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers

The Speed Engineering Gen 4 Camaro & Firebird longtube headers are meticulously crafted from premium 304 stainless steel, ensuring exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. These headers feature 1 7/8" mandrel-bent primaries that smoothly transition into a 3" collector, optimized for the 5.7L LS1 engine. The design incorporates merge spikes and CNC machined flanges for superior performance and fitment. Engineered for a direct fit, these longtube headers are compatible with 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS and 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird & Trans Am models equipped with LS1 engines. They have been dyno-proven to deliver gains of over 25 rear-wheel horsepower compared to stock manifolds. The natural stainless steel finish and tig-welded construction highlight the quality and performance focus of this product. Installation of these headers may require fabrication, and the user manual notes that the steering shaft can be an obstruction, potentially requiring disconnection and reconnection during installation.
