1-7/8" Long Tube Exhaust Headers

The BBK 18560-R headers are a reconditioned set of performance exhaust headers designed to significantly increase horsepower and torque output for select Ford Mustang models. Featuring large 1-7/8" CNC-machined mandrel bent primary tubes, these headers are engineered for unrestricted exhaust flow, contributing to greater power gains and a throaty exhaust note. Constructed from 16-gauge steel with 3/8" thick flanges, these headers utilize a leak-free ball and socket collector design. The durable silver ceramic coating not only provides a lasting finish but also helps retain heat for improved power output and reduced under-hood temperatures. The product is sold as a reconditioned item and includes all required hardware and new gaskets, though specific hardware kits (like BBK-16332 for 2015+ Mustang GT) may be required for certain applications. Installation as a direct bolt-on is supported when used with a BBK Performance short mid-pipe. However, a custom tune is recommended for optimal performance after installing these headers. Additionally, front O2 wire harness extensions are required for installation and are not included; specific part numbers (1112, 1119, 1121) are recommended based on the GEN Coyote engine generation. Fitment is specified for 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT or Boss 302, 2016-2020 Ford Mustang GT350, and 2015-2023 Ford Mustang GT (which requires the BBK-16332 hardware kit). It is crucial to check the correct header bolt thread pitch before installation to avoid damaging the cylinder head, as different thread pitches are included for early and later model engines.
