Overview

Constructed from 16-gauge, T-304 stainless steel, these headers feature a one-piece, long tube design with 1-7/8 inch primary tubes and a 3-inch collector. They include gaskets and bolts for installation.

These headers are a race-only product and are not legal for use on public roads. They must be used with Kooks intermediate pipes only.

The Kooks 1-7/8" x 3" Stainless Long Tube Headers are specifically engineered for the 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird equipped with the LS1 5.7L engine. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, these headers are designed for performance applications and feature a race version configuration that omits emissions fittings, providing only O2 fittings and merge collectors. It is important to note that these headers do not connect directly to the OEM exhaust system. The installation and proper function of these headers require the use of Kooks Connection Pipes or a Kooks Full Exhaust system. The product is built to order in North Carolina with an estimated ship window of 4-6 weeks. Various Jet-Hot Ceramic Coating options are available for an additional cost, including Classic Polish (Silver), Satin Silver, Satin Black, and Flat Black. A tumbling service is also offered for an extra fee.
