It allows you to convert both the factory block breather and valve cover breather to standard -10AN fittings, facilitating the installation of custom breather lines and catch cans. This is a perfect addition for custom engine builds or performance modifications requiring improved crankcase ventilation. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum and CNC machined in-house, these adapters ensure quality and precise fitment. The kit includes two distinct fittings: one for the stock oil cooler housing's breather and another for the valve cover's hose barb. Installation is designed to be fast and simple, taking less than 10 minutes and requiring no welding, drilling, or modifications. The block breather adapter replaces the factory plastic hose, utilizing the original O-ring and clip. The valve cover fitting is a press-fit design that replaces the factory hose barb, installed with gentle tapping. This adapter kit is specifically designed for a range of Audi and VW models equipped with the 1.8T 20V 06A engine, including the Audi TT (2000-2006), A3/S3 (1996-2003), A4 (1996-2005), A6/Allroad (1998-2004), and VW Golf/GTI/Jetta/GLI (1999-2005), Passat (1998-2005), and Beetle (1998-2011).
