1.8t 20v 2.0L Stroker Kit

The CTS Turbo 1.8t 20v 2.0L IE/JE 9.5:1 Stroker Kit is a comprehensive engine internal upgrade designed to enhance performance and durability. This kit features a genuine, forged VW 2.0 FSI crankshaft with an appropriate oil pump drive gear, ensuring compatibility with all 06A blocks. It includes custom JE 83mm bore, forged pistons with a 9.5:1 compression ratio and 20mm wrist pins, paired with Integrated Engineering 20mm rods. This robust setup offers significant advantages over standard 1.8t components, including quicker turbo spool, increased off-boost torque, and greater power and torque output per pound of boost. By lowering cylinder pressures at a given output, this stroker kit allows for more effective use of lower octane pump fuel (91-94 octane), making your vehicle a more serious contender on everyday fuel. The kit is designed to fit 06A blocks, including all transverse and 2000+ longitudinal 1.8t engines. A note regarding installation: an overbore head gasket is required. It is recommended to add an IE overbore head gasket to your order to ensure proper fitment and function.
