The IE Fuel Rail is a direct upgrade for VW and Audi 1.8T 20V engines, offering a perfect fit and an attractive aesthetic enhancement to the engine bay. Key features include AN ports for seamless connection of aftermarket fuel lines and retained factory injector clips, ensuring security and preventing injector o-ring leaks. The rail is machined in-house from 6061 aircraft aluminum, with mounting posts integrated for precise placement and straightforward installation. The inlet and outlet ports utilize -8AN O-ring boss threads for a leak-free fuel flow, suitable even for high-performance applications. The black anodized finish provides resistance to corrosive fuels, including ethanol. This fuel rail is compatible with a wide range of VW and Audi models equipped with the 1.8T 20V engine, including the Audi A4 (B5, B5.5, B6), A6 (C5), A6 Allroad (C5), TT (MK1), and A3 (MK1), as well as the S3 (MK1). It also fits VW Golf (MK4), GTI (MK4), Jetta & Jetta GLI (MK4), Passat (B5, B5.5), and Beetle (1C, 9C, 1Y) models. A specific note for AMB engine codes with short injectors: IE 12mm Fuel Injector Extensions (Part Number: IEBAUU3) are required for proper installation. The product is made from 6061 aircraft aluminum and features a one-piece design with 8AN O-ring boss connections. It is finished in a black anodized coating that is ready for ethanol fuel usage.
